Scope: this page covers information sent directly from your device (smartphone, computer, etc.) to external providers when you use the High Climb iOS / Android app (the "App") or the website highclimb.app (the "Website") on that device. It does not cover the "Gym Operator Portal" or admin screen for climbing gym operators.
Regarding the App, cases where our own servers send your information to an external provider (for example, sending to subcontractors for error monitoring, usage analysis, or email delivery) are described not on this page but in the Privacy Policy. Please review that page as well.
Beyond what is listed here, if you voluntarily tap an external link (such as a social media post page or help page) or enter your own information into a service such as Google or Apple when signing in with that account, this is your own action and is not covered by this page.
When you use the App, information may be sent directly from your device to the following external providers.

When you open the app download page, an app guide page, or a public results page, the Website's server (Cloudflare Pages Functions) may send the following information to PostHog (PostHog Inc.), in order to record view activity and referral sources: the URL of the page viewed (including the results page's ID), the referrer, browser type, etc. (User-Agent), URL parameters indicating a referral source, and a pseudonymous identifier derived from your IP address and User-Agent (we do not send the IP address itself). This is not a direct transmission from your device, so it is not included in the table above.
